Position Summary

A Busser/Food Runner plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient dining environment. They assist servers and contribute to an exceptional guest experience by performing a variety of tasks that ensure the food service runs smoothly. Must be comfortable working in outdoor conditions.

 

This role will pay an hourly rate of $17.20 CAD and is tip eligble. 

 

This is a seasonal role from approximately June 1, 2025- October 15, 2025.

About the Venue

Welcome to Rogers Stadium, a new 50,000 capacity outdoor venue in North Toronto. Oak View Group serves the stadium as its main Food & Beverage partner during a brief but intense season of 12-15 concerts, running from June to September. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking for an extra gig, part-time work, and a fun work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist servers with food delivery and guest requests.
  • Ensure correct food presentation and cleanliness of service areas.
  • Support in setting up and breaking down dining areas.
  • Clearing plates, glasses, napkins and used silverware from tables.
  • Setting tables for the next customers.
  • Refilling items such as salt and pepper shakers and condiment bottles if they are missing or empty.
  • Cleaning up spills.
  • Ensuring organization and cleanliness at all times.
  • Possess a working knowledge of the venue (location, direction, events, policies etc).
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Food Runner is a must.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Must be able to work different shifts, which may include holidays, evenings and weekends.
  • Able to legally work in Canada.
