Position Summary

The Director of Off Premise Catering & Events is responsible for managing and expanding the off-site catering division while ensuring seamless execution of luxury private, corporate, and social events during the off-season months. This role requires a strategic leader with expertise in catering sales, event logistics, and client relationship management.

During the summer months, the Director will oversee the Premium Suites at Rogers Stadium, ensuring an exceptional VIP experience for corporate clients, high-profile guests, and concertgoers. This includes directing all day-to-day catering operations, managing premium hospitality services, and leading a team of supervisors, servers, and bottle service staff.

 

The Director will also oversee inventory management and service execution to maintain the highest level of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. This dual-seasonal responsibility requires a versatile and experienced leader capable of managing both high-end off-site catering and large-scale premium suite operations in a stadium setting.

 

This role pays an annual salary of $90,000-$105,000 CAD

Responsibilities

  • Off-Site Catering Division (Fall to Spring Season with the expectations of a year-round operation).
  • Develop and grow the off-site catering business by securing corporate, social, and private off-site events.
  • Responsible for building relationships with event planners, venues, and high-end clientele to generate new business.
  • Work closely with the culinary team to create custom menus that reflect luxury service standards.
  • Oversee event planning, logistics, staffing, and execution to ensure flawless service.
  • Lead a team of catering sales professionals and event staff, ensuring excellence in operations.
  • Manage budgets, cost control, and profitability of the catering division.
  • Premium Suite & VIP Hospitality – Rogers Stadium (Summer Season).
  • Oversee all premium suite operations, catering to VIP clients, corporate guests, and concertgoers.
  • Profitably manage and direct all aspects of premium suite catering, ensuring a first-class hospitality experience.
  • Lead and supervise a team of servers, supervisors, and bottle service staff, maintaining high service standards.
  • Ensure seamless execution of bottle service, premium dining, and high-touch guest experiences.
  • Oversee inventory management for premium suites and catering services, ensuring efficiency and quality control.
  • Work closely with stadium management and vendors to ensure smooth operations and compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree OR related work experience
  • 5+ years catering sales experience in catering or hotel catering preferred
  • Requires working select nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Managerial expereince preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel
