Position Summary

The Luxury Suite Runner is primarily responsible for setting the suite up with appropriate preordered food, beverage items and serving equipment before the guests arrive. Following the event the Luxury Suite Runner will clear away any remaining food and equipment restoring the Suite to prevent condition. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

 

This role will pay an hourly rate of $18.80 CAD and is tip eligible

About the Venue

Canada Life Place is a sports-entertainment centre, in London, Ontario, Canada – the largest such centre in Southwestern Ontario. Its previous names include John Labatt Centre and Budweiser Gardens. Opened as the John Labatt Centre in 2002, it was named after John Labatt, founder of the Labatt brewery in London. 

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Luxury Suites in running food & beverage to guests in the suites.
  • Responsible for observing guests to respond to any additional requests.
  • Responsible for assisting Suite Servers with Ice-Cream sales.
  • Responsible for cleaning up remaining food product and equipment after the guests have left.
  • Responsible for keeping the Suite work areas and equipment clean.
  • Responsible for setting up the Suite with preordered food, beverage product and required serving equipment.
  • Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
  • Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
  • Must be available for weekends, holidays, night and day shifts when applicable.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event based environment.
  • Must have a valid Smart Serve Certificate
