Position Summary

We're looking for Premium Restaurant/Club Hosts to help the smooth running of TD Coliseum hospitality operation, you'll be on the front line providing friendly, engaging service to guests across the venue in the Premium Clubs and Restaurants. 

 

This role requires strong communication skills, as you'll be interacting with a high amount of customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service. You should be able to remain calm under pressure (especially during busy periods), and do it all with positivity and a smile!

This role pays an hourly rate of $17.60 CAD

About the Venue

Be a part of history at TD Coliseum, one of the most anticipated entertainment venues in North America, opening in November of 2025. With a calendar of major concerts, sporting events, and special experiences, this is your opportunity to join a passionate team delivering premium hospitality in a brand-new, state-of-the-art arena. 

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with a welcoming and engaging attitude upon arrival 
  • Maintain a clean and organized host stand and surrounding areas 
  • Manage seating flow and waitlists to ensure efficient guest traffic during events 
  • Escort guests to their designated areas, providing key information as needed 
  • Communicate effectively with FOH staff and management to optimize guest flow 
  • Ensure all premium entry points and lounges are tidy and guest-ready 
  • Support overall operations by assisting with event setup and other assigned duties 
  • Possess full knowledge of menu items and accompaniments 
  • Ensure all areas have appropriate serving ware and are cleaned post-event 
  • Maintain operable and sanitized equipment in assigned areas 
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisors or management 
  • Experience with Reservations Software is considered an asset

Qualifications

  • Valid Smart Serve Certification (mandatory) 
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred 
  • Previous host or front-of-house experience in restaurants or events is an asset 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills 
  • Calm under pressure with strong multitasking abilities 
  • Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedule 
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
