Position Summary

The seasonal premium In-Seat Server provides ultimate hospitality for guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role helps us to fulfill and deliver mobile orders within the Premium Seating Sections of the venue.

This is a seasonal role from April 1, 2026 and will end on September 30, 2026. 


This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00 CAD and is tip eligible

 

EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.

About the Venue

Welcome to Rogers Field at Nat Bailey Stadium, proud home of the Vancouver Canadians. Oak View Group serves the stadium as its main Food & Beverage partner during a brief but intense season of 66 games in 11 weeks, running from April to September. The venue is family-friendly and offers a positive environment where to grow your skills while creating memorable moments for the fans. Responsibilities

  • Provides quick, attentive, friendly and professional service to arena guests and can communicate clearly with all customers.
  • Ensure that snacks and drinks are served properly and in a timely manner as ordered by the customer.
  • Ensures neat presentation of all ordered items, with no spill-over.
  • Maintains availability to work during many peak periods.
  • Assists with stocks server station(s) in the clubs when necessary (ice, mixers, cups, napkins etc.).
  • Maintains high responsiveness to orders and takes initiative to capture mobile orders from groups and individuals in the premium club soft seating sections.
  • Maintains a professional and clean appearance.
  • Communicating leads to improving systems and coordination so that patrons may be impressed by their experience.
  • Builds and maintains knowledge regarding menu items offerings so that patron questions may be accurately answered.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment preferred.
  • Experience in stadiums as in-seat server or food runner preferred.
  • Must have a High School Diploma, G.E.D. or related Food Service Job Experience.
  • Must acquire and maintain Serving It Right and other required compliance training courses.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
  • Serving It Right Certification and ability to serve alcoholic beverages required.

Physical Dimensions:

  • Performing the duties of this position involves extensive and continuous standing and walking.
  • Routine activities require the employee to be able to reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
  • The vision requirements include the ability to adjust focus, peripheral vision and close vision.

Working Conditions & Hazards

  • Exposed to weather and non-weather-related cold temperatures.
  • Exposed to high weather-related temperatures during summer season
  • In areas with low levels of CO exposure.
  • Wet and slippery floors.
  • Pinch points and tight working spaces throughout building.
  • Exposed to high noise levels.
