The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the execution of catered events at the Penticton Trade and Convention Center, from the initial setup through to the seamless execution and post-event wrap-up. This role extends to engaging service in the premium seating areas of the South Okanagan Event Centre. We're looking for a dynamic individual who thrives in a vibrant, fast-paced environment and brings a friendly, approachable demeanor to every interaction. In addition to overseeing events, the Food & Beverage Supervisor supports our Restaurant and Catering Manager and Food & Beverage Manager, diving into a variety of projects. The Catering Supervisor must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business needs.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $20.00-$26.00 CAD and is tip eligible.

The SOEC Complex in Penticton is a premier multi-venue hub featuring the main South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC) a 5000-seat spectator arena for sports and entertainment events, the flexible Penticton Trade & Convention Centre (PTCC) offers 60,000 sq. ft. of space, accommodating up to 3500 attendees, with the ability to hold up to 2700 in theatre-style seating in the combined ballrooms. When hosting large-scale events, the PTCC and SOEC can work in tandem, leveraging the 95,000+ square feet of combined meeting and event space across the nine-acre campus.
The SOEC Complex also holds the historic Memorial Arena adjacent to the SOEC, this arena provides an additional 2212 seats, and the Okanagan Hockey School training facilities, serving as the Okanagan's key destination for sports, entertainment, and large gatherings.
