The Concession Runner is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of food and beverage concession stands during events, conferences, and special functions. This role involves receiving, transporting, stocking, and replenishing food, beverages, and operational supplies to ensure concession locations remain fully stocked and prepared for service. The Concession Runner works closely with concession staff, warehouse personnel, and management to maintain inventory levels, organize storage areas, and respond promptly to operational needs. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment while maintaining cleanliness, food safety, and company standards.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $19.00 CAD and is tip eligible.

• Stock and replenish concession stands with food, beverages, packaging, and operational supplies before, during, and after events.

• Transport products, equipment, and supplies between warehouse storage areas, kitchens, and concession locations.

• Monitor inventory levels throughout events and proactively restock items to prevent service interruptions.

• Assist with receiving deliveries, unloading products, and organizing inventory in designated storage areas.

• Ensure all products are properly stored, rotated, and handled in accordance with FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory procedures.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards within concession stands, storage rooms, and warehouse areas.

• Work closely with concession supervisors, warehouse staff, and management to prioritize restocking needs and respond to operational requests.

• Assist with setting up and breaking down concession stands, including stocking refrigerators, freezers, shelving, and service stations.

• Monitor product availability and communicate low-stock items, shortages, or discrepancies to management.

• Ensure proper handling and transportation of food and beverages while following food safety and temperature-control guidelines.

• Safely operate carts, dollies, and other approved material-handling equipment to transport products throughout the venue.

• Assist with inventory counts, product transfers, and end-of-event stock reconciliation as directed.

• Remove empty boxes, packaging materials, and waste to maintain safe and organized workspaces.

• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and safe equipment handling.

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

• Provide additional operational support to concession stands and food and beverage teams as required.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and management to support successful event operations.
